The security of the syndicate insurers
All Mercury insurances are transferred via Lloyd’s to three international parties, Lloyd’s syndicates:

  • Axis , a specialist British insurer within Lloyd’s;
  • Ascot , owned by CPP Investments, a global investment management organization that invests the assets of the Canada Pension Plan.;
  • Antares, a specialist insurer within Lloyd’s and part of one of the largest insurers in the Middle East, Qatar lnsurance Company.

Although Mercury is a new player on the credit insurance market, the Mercury team has decades of extensive expertise and years of experience in the national and international insurance world. This enables Mercury to find an appropriate answer to every credit insurance demand.

Brexit Transfer – Lloyd’s
Lloyd’s has completed a Part VII Portfolio Transfer of EEA insurance policies to Lloyd’s Brussels (“the Transfer”), effective 31st December 2020. The Transfer has not changed terms and conditions of any policy, except that Lloyd’s Brussels has become the insurer and Data Controller in respect of the transferred policies.
